Hydra
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

1991 SyksyOn todennut päättävä elin "otamme vanhan pelin ja julkaisemme uusissa kuorissa ostovimma herää nuorissa." Roadblasters sai kunnian toimia muottina veneily teeman päänuottina.
1991 SyksyThe decision-making body has decreed: "We'll take an old game and proceed to publish it in a new disguise, and the young ones' buying fever will rise." Roadblasters got the honour of serving as the mould, the keynote of the boating theme, all told. The packages must be delivered where they're due without them falling to the terrorist crew. The air and the rivers are packed with villains by the ton, so you can clear the soot out of the barrel of your gun. The biggest difference from Roadblasters is plain to see: there's water where the tarmac landscape used to be. And at least, thanks to the turbo's might, even a boat can take to flight. Otherwise the action's all the same: drive fast, and collecting stuff's the game, money and fuel above all, you see, for without money there are no extras for me. You usually get too little fuel to spare, and the game comes to an end right there. You can't slate Hydra as bad, but nor can the praise go bang like mad, since this Tengen coin-op conversion is a thoroughly middling version. If anyone still has the stamina for this sort of play, they'll get just what they pay for, as they say. Though you'll get it for a whole lot less on Domark's very next compilation, I'd guess.
