Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. 1988Jeehaa, hyppykeppiolympialaiset! Tämä onkin puuttunut urheilupeleistä. Nyt kaikki on täydellistä. Ei enää urheilupelejä. Ei koskaan enää.
Hyppykepeillä pääsee kilpailemaan viidessä lajissa: pallojen puhkominen, 110 metrin pikapompinta, kolmiloikka, ammunta ja esterata. Kaikille lajeille on tyypillistä eteneminen oikealta vasemmalle. Lajit itse eroavat toisistaan lähinnä vain erilaisissa esteissä, ja liikkumisrajoitteina. Tästä huolimatta Pogostick on hyvä ja kiinnostava peli. Se kiinnostaa ja tiukka musiikki innostaa pelaamaan. Silverbirdin peleissä onkin yhdistävänä piirteenä hyvä musiikki, pelien itsekin ollessa kerrassaan hyviä.
Hyvä peli, hyvä musa, hyvä firma. Parhaita budjettipelejä mitä olen tavannut, vain Thrust menee edelle.

On pogo sticks you get to compete in five events: ball bursting, the 110-metre sprint bounce, triple jump, shooting and an obstacle course. Common to all the events is moving from right to left. The events themselves differ from one another mainly just in their different obstacles and movement restrictions. Despite this, Pogostick is a good and interesting game. It holds your interest, and the punchy music gets you fired up to play. Good music is indeed the common thread in Silverbird's games, the games themselves being downright good too.
Good game, good tunes, good company. One of the best budget games I have come across; only Thrust beats it.
