Ninja Mission
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

Ohjelma on tavanomaistakin tavanomaisempi (paitsi huonompi) budopeli.
PS. Yhtäkään erittäin myyvässä kannessa näkyvistä aseista - karhunkynsi, jatimatic-klooni ja lyhyt voulgen tapainen epäkäytännöllinen ase - ei löydy itse pelistä...
1988Here is yet another of those games on the strength of which all programmers - or at least all software publishers - can be called barefaced liars. You see, the back cover promises brain-blowing graphics and knockout playability. In a way all of this is true enough, but the decay of your brain function is certainly not down to the excellence of said qualities - quite the opposite.
The program is a more-ordinary-than-ordinary (except worse) martial arts game. The only but is that when a theme has been gnawed to the bone like this one, at least the technical execution ought to be all the better, and not a botch job like this. Those who don't like beat-'em-ups won't like this one either, and those who do had better take a look at where they put their money.
PS. Not one of the weapons shown on the extremely saleable cover - a bear claw, a jatimatic clone and a short, impractical voulge-like weapon - is to be found in the game itself...
