1987Englantilainen kaunotarkuuluisuus Samantha Fox on digitoinut sulojaan jälkipolville ja taitaville pokerinpelaajille. Samanthan alastomia bittejä voi ihailla pelaamalla voitokkaasti seitsemän kortin pokeria. Jollei Samantha houkuttele, voi samaa peliä pelata kasetin toiselta puolelta löytyvällä ohjelmalla kolmea eritavoin pelaavaa vastustajaa vastaan.
Samanthan kuvat oli jätetty melko pieniksi (noin ¼ ruutua) muistin säästämiseksi, joten kuvat olivat digitaalitekniikasta huolimatta hieman epäselviä.
Samanthan pelitaitoja on kovasti kehuskeltu ulkomaisissa lehdissä. Pettymys olikin suuri - tai ehkei sittenkään - kun Samanthalta loppui rahat ja vaatteet jo noin tunnin pelin jälkeen.
Enemmän kuin Samanthan halukkuus heittää vaatteet syrjään, häiritsi kuitenkin pelin hidastempoisuus. Jokaisen erän jälkeen on nimittäin kelattava läpi kaikki ne Samanthan kuvat, jotka pelaaja on oikeutettu näkemään. Pelissä oli myös muutama ihmeelliseen paikkaan sijoitettu viive, jotka saavat pelaajan odottamaan sormi näppäimistön yllä kohotettuna lupaa tehdä seuraava valinta.
Potin korotukset ovat kierroksittain vakiosuuruisia, joten pelaaja joutuu tyytymään koneen valitsemiin korotuksiin. Kaikki valinnat (passaus, luovutus, korotus, katsominen) tehdään näppäimistöltä. Mukava nojatuolissa löhöten ihaileminen ei siis ole mahdollista (ei joystickoptiota).
Ihmeellistä oli englanninkielisten ohjeiden puuttuminen. Ohjeet löytyivät kylläkin tanskaksi, ranskaksi, saksaksi ja espanjaksi.
Kokonaisuutena peli sopii parhaiten alastomien bittien intohimoisille ihailijoille. Innokkaat pokerinpelaajat voivat pyytää naapurin tyttöä pelaamaan Samanthan sijaan.
1987English celebrity beauty Samantha Fox has digitised her charms for posterity and for skilled poker players. Samantha's naked bits can be admired by playing seven-card poker, and winning. If Samantha doesn't tempt you, the same game can be played, using the program on the other side of the tape, against three opponents who each play in a different way.
Samantha's pictures had been left fairly small (about ¼ of the screen) to save memory, so in spite of the digital technology they were a bit fuzzy.
Samantha's poker skills have been talked up no end in foreign magazines. So the disappointment was great - or then again maybe not - when Samantha ran out of money and clothes after only about an hour's play.
More than Samantha's eagerness to cast her clothes aside, though, what bothered me was the game's sluggish pace. After every hand, you see, you have to wind through all the pictures of Samantha that the player is entitled to see. The game also had a few delays placed in baffling spots, which keep the player waiting with a finger poised above the keyboard for permission to make the next choice.
The raises to the pot are a fixed amount each round, so the player has to make do with the raises the computer picks. All the choices (pass, fold, raise, see) are made from the keyboard. So leisurely admiring while sprawled in an armchair is not possible (no joystick option).
What was odd was that there were no English instructions. There were instructions in Danish, French, German and Spanish, mind you.
Taken as a whole, the game is best suited to passionate admirers of naked bits. Keen poker players can ask the girl next door to play instead of Samantha.
