Saboteur
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

1987Saboteur confirms my belief that making a good game doesn't necessarily require a top-of-the-range machine. People have always sniggered at the Spectrum's graphics and sound generator when comparing it with, say, the Commodore 64, but just try this one! Saboteur's graphics and sound will leave even the harshest critic speechless for a while.
The task of the player character, a ninja hired as a saboteur, is to find a disk containing a dangerous program and escape in a helicopter that is somewhere in the building. If you manage to plant the time bomb found in the building in the computer centre, or find the disk in question and take it with you, you get an extra bonus. You can also escape without the disk or without setting the bomb, but then you go without a bonus.
Standing in your way are armed guards and dogs, which hang around your ankles and sap your strength until you finally die. The guards can kick and punch, but they can't kill with a single blow the way you can. You can also throw knives, lengths of pipe, stones and other such objects you find at the guards and dogs - anything except the time bomb and the disk.
In my opinion Saboteur is a terrific game for anyone who likes fast-paced adventure games, though it should be played with a joystick rather than the keyboard. Since there are nine different difficulty levels, the game will keep you entertained for a long time.
