Polar Pierre

Kaiken huipuksi kyllästymisen uhka on jatkuvasti läsnä.

Ensinnäkin mahdollisuus kaksinpeliin on ominaisuus, jota kaipaisi muihinkin tasoillapomppimispeleihin. Toiseksi mahdollisuus luoda itse omia pelikenttiä on toki myös mainitsemisen arvoista.

1987Everyone has always known that the mountains can be dangerous, but this is getting ridiculous. The place is swarming with catapults, snowball cannons, crushers and weird electric fields. And somebody is nutty enough to go blundering around in the middle of it all, standing slalom flags back up.

Unfortunately, you just can't seem to get any kind of grip on the game. The action is stiff, and the randomised colours, obviously meant to make things more colourful, only produce dull combinations. To top it all, the threat of boredom is ever present.

Polar Pierre really only has two good points. First, the two-player option is a feature you'd like to see in other hop-about-on-platforms games too. Second, the chance to create your own levels is certainly worth a mention as well.
