Petch

1987Petch on Anirogin tuottama tutuntyyppinen sokkelopeli.

1987Petch is a maze game of a familiar type, produced by Anirog. The task of the little penguin, Petch, is to get three diamonds next to each other, either horizontally or vertically. Pestering Petch along the way are the snow bees, which try their very best to stop it succeeding in its task. Petch gets a moment's relief by squashing a bee between ice cubes, but after a little while the buzzer is back pestering it again.

Points come from squashing bees and placing diamonds, plus bonuses for quick action. Every level has a time limit, you see.

You pick up the idea of the game quickly, but the interest does hold for a while. Graphically Petch is well made and the music is good too, though you'll probably tire of it fairly soon.
