Paperboy

1987Pelissä ohjaat lehdenjakajapoikaa amerikkalaisen esikaupungin kaduilla. Tehtävänäsi on jakaa lehdet postilaatikkoihin.

Melko agressiivista lehden markkinointia muuten!

1987In the game you steer a paperboy through the streets of an American suburb. Your job is to deliver the papers into the mailboxes. Your work is made harder by radio-controlled cars, dogs and other people.

You have to get past all of these, but you also get to indulge in a bit of mischief yourself. The non-subscribers living on the street are the victims of your pranks, and if you smash, say, their windows or the stuff in their yards, you get bonus points.

Pretty aggressive newspaper marketing, by the way! At the end of each day you get to go out on a BMX track, where you collect points by hitting targets and target boards.

The game's lasting interest isn't very good, since you can get through it fairly easily, and there's only one difficulty level.

The game does get a little harder in that once you've managed to deliver papers to all the subscribers, some new subscribers turn up on the street, and there's more work for the boy.

The graphics are good and neat in an ordinary sort of way, and the music soon starts to wear thin.
