Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

1987MSXTRAan on koottu neljä peliä samaan kasettiin: ilmiselvä JWS-kopio Bladder, kolmiulotteinen jenkkifutispeli Superbowl, useita kovia vastustajia tarjoava 3D-Knockout nyrkkeilypeli ja Ultimaten Alien 8 -kaltainen Disc Warrior.
Bladderissa olet murtovaras, joka harjoittaa perinteikästä ammattiaan taloissa ja kaupoissa. Peli koostuu useista grafiikaltaan upeista ruuduista. Valitettavasti musiikkia ei saa pois, sillä siihen kyllästyy pian. Toki TV:n kaiuttimen voi aina hiljentää, mutta se hävittää samalla muut ääniefektit.
Kasetin heikoin tekele on Superbowl. Ainoastaan sen grafiikkaa voi kiittää. Sprite-hahmojen paljoudesta johtuva ruudun välkkyminen alkaa rasittaa silmiä jo lyhyen pelaamisen jälkeen.
Peli tuntuu aluksi sekavalta, mutta kun siihen pääsee sisälle, niin sen pelaaminen on suhteellisen yksinkertaista - ja tylsää. Pelaaminen on lähinnä erilaisten valikoiden kanssa sählimistä.
3D-Knockoutin kehäraakit eivät päästä pelaajaa vähällä. Saa olla todella haka, jos aikoo saada useampia lyöntejä perille.
Pelin kolmiulotteisessa grafiikassa ei ollut suurempia puutteita, ainoastaan hirveä välkkyminen haittasi. Peliä voi pelata myös kaksi pelaajaa, toinen joystickillä, ja toinen näppäimistöltä.
Disc Warriorissa liikut kolmiulotteisessa maailmassa ja yrität kerätä esineitä. Kuten pelin henkeen kuuluu, on siinä erilaisia kummituksia, lintuja ja muita hirvityksiä estämässä vapaan taistelijan liikuskelua. Onhan mukana toki aseita niiden listimiseen, mutta jollakin tavalla ne tuntuivat tehottomilta.
1987MSXTRA gathers four games onto one cassette: Bladder, a blatant JWS copy; Superbowl, a three-dimensional American football game; 3D-Knockout, a boxing game offering several tough opponents; and Disc Warrior, in the style of Ultimate's Alien 8.
In Bladder you are a burglar plying his time-honoured trade in houses and shops. The game consists of a number of screens with superb graphics. Unfortunately the music can't be switched off, and you soon get sick of it. You can always turn down the TV speaker, of course, but that gets rid of the other sound effects as well.
The feeblest effort on the cassette is Superbowl. Only its graphics deserve any praise. The screen flicker caused by the sheer number of sprites starts to strain your eyes after even a short session.
At first the game seems confusing, but once you get into it, playing it is relatively simple - and dull. Playing it mostly means fumbling about with various menus.
3D-Knockout's battered old ring veterans don't let the player off lightly. You have to be a real ace if you want to land more than a few punches.
The game's three-dimensional graphics had no major flaws; only the terrible flicker got in the way. Two players can also play, one with a joystick and the other on the keyboard.
In Disc Warrior you move around a three-dimensional world trying to collect objects. As befits the spirit of the game, there are assorted ghosts, birds and other horrors hindering the free warrior's wanderings. There are weapons for bumping them off, of course, but somehow they felt ineffective.
