Infiltrator
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

1987Infiltrator on monia eri vaiheita sisältävä toiminta- ja seikkailupeli. Se alkaa helikopterilennolla kohteeseen. Lentoa helpottaa laite, joka kertoo suunnan kohteeseen. Ikävä kyllä ystävällis- ja vihamieliset lentokoneet partioivat ilmatilassa. Niiden kanssa voi joutua ilmataisteluihin, jollei tiedä oikeata salasanaa.
Kohdealueelle laskeutumisen jälkeen on päästävä miinakentän läpi vihollisleiriin. Leirissä pitää edetä käyttäen mahdollisimman usein tekaistua henkilöllisyystodistusta. Jollei paperi kelpaa, on vartijoita joko juostava pakoon tai tainnutettava nukutuskaasulla tai -kranaateilla.
Joka tason tehtävä annetaan alussa. Kun se on suoritettu, pääsee seuraavalle tasolle.
Grafiikka Infiltratorissa on erinomaista. Ikävä kyllä kuvien lataus lisää odotusaikaa huomattavasti. Ääniefektit ovat tilanteisiin sopivia, ainakin ne ylittävät keskiarvon. Kiinnostus tähän peliin ei vähällä lopu, sillä peli vaikeutuu loppua kohden suuresti. Peli ei kuitenkaan ole mahdoton ratkaista. Itse pidän Infiltratorista paljon, ja tulen jatkamaan sen pelaamista vastaisuudessakin.
1987Infiltrator is an action and adventure game made up of many different stages. It starts with a helicopter flight to the target. The flight is made easier by a device that tells you the direction to the target. Unfortunately, both friendly and hostile aircraft patrol the airspace. You can end up in dogfights with them if you don't know the right password.
After landing in the target area you have to get through a minefield into the enemy camp. In the camp you must make your way forward using your forged ID papers as often as possible. If the papers don't pass muster, you have to either run away from the guards or knock them out with knockout gas or knockout grenades.
The mission for each level is given at the start. Once it has been completed, you move on to the next level.
The graphics in Infiltrator are excellent. Unfortunately, loading the pictures adds considerably to the waiting time. The sound effects suit the situations; at the very least they are above average. Interest in this game won't run out in a hurry, as the game gets a great deal harder towards the end. It is not impossible to beat, though. Personally I like Infiltrator a lot, and I'll keep on playing it from here on too.
