Wanted

Liipasinsormea on hieman hillittävä, sillä viattomien sivustakatsojien murhaaminen kostetaan tuota pikaa game overilla. Lopuksi on vuorossa aseellinen välikohtaus saluunan edessä, jossa saa tyhjentää koko rullan viskinhuuruisen tappomiehen kylkiluihin.

1990 KevätThe nice thing about a light gun is that you can slaughter the characters cavorting about on the screen "for real". Sega's Wanted offers genuine gunsmoke-reeking Wild West action. Although it is unintentionally comic that the gun has "Light Phaser" written on it.

In the game your shooting skills are tested in varied scenarios, the first of which has you clearing the town of criminal riff-raff. The hero character toddles down the main street all on its own and perforates the villains peeking out of the windows at whatever pace the player sets. The trigger finger needs to be reined in a little, since murdering innocent bystanders is swiftly avenged with a game over. Finally it's time for an armed incident in front of the saloon, where you get to empty the whole cylinder into the ribs of a whisky-soaked killer.

In the second section you ride like the wind and, for a change, try to hit moving targets. There's also trick shooting, where you knock down little tubs in true Alan Ladd style.

Light gun games usually limit the number of rounds, but in Wanted the hero can even embroider a signature on the saloon wall, if there's time. The game packs all the basic clichés of the genre into a quality package, but Wanted on its own is hardly reason enough to go out and get a light gun.
