Thundercats
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

Kuten arvata saattaa nojaa Thundercats vahvasti puhtaisiin refleskeihin.
Siis onko jälleen kyseessä vanhaan kaavaan perustuva huono lisenssipeli, jonka ainoa tarkoitus on ryöstää Thundercats-fanien kissanostoon varatut taskurahat?
1988Thundercats, or Ukkoskissat, are creatures originating from the planet Skychannel. As far as I understand, they are half human and half cat, which does make you wonder...
The mole men sent by the evil Mumm-Ra have not only kidnapped several Thundercats but also made off with the Eye of Thundera. Luckily for Thundera, it's only a jewel. Can Lion-O battle through Plun-Dar's castle and rescue both the other moggies and the jewel, and if so, does anyone care?
As you might guess, Thundercats leans heavily on pure reflexes. Lion-O dashes along corridors, and all the while assorted Mumm-Ra henchmen keep turning up, whose guts Lion-O rips out onto the floor with that trusty sword. Along the way the man-critter can collect items that give you, for example, a laser gun or a flying ship. Every now and then you jump over chasms too. Levels have to be cleared within a time limit, or else Lion-O starts losing lives (of which, wonder of wonders, there are not nine).
So is this yet another lousy licence game built on the old formula, whose only purpose is to rob Thundercats fans of the pocket money they'd put aside for buying cats? Things are not that dismal. Elite haven't relied solely on the pulling power of the Thundercats but have taken the trouble to make a decent killing game, in fact one of the most playable I've seen in a while.
The graphics are good and the playability is of a high standard. The sound effects are nothing to brag about, but at least there isn't some pathetic tune playing in the background. The game even has enough variety that you don't get bored of it straight away.
It looks as though people have started putting time into licence games too. Good thing; hopefully the trend continues.
