Blood Brothers
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

1988Veriveljet - tarina kahden veljeksen kostoretkestä. Kavereiden vanhemmat liiskattiin Scorpionien hyökkäyksessä ja pojat päättivät kostaa. Viikkoja kului varustuksen kasaamiseen ja sitten hyökkäys alkoi: he laskeutuivat Scorpian uumeniin.
Peli on vielä tyhmempi miltä se kuulostaa. Tavanomainen sokkeloseikkailu jossa ammutaan kaikkea mikä liikkuu ja kerätään ammuksia ja muuta lisäkamaa. Kuitenkin peli olisi sellaisenaan mukiinmenevä ellei koko roskaa olisi romutettu kahdella seikalla. Vain kaksinpeli on mahdollinen ja toisen pelaajan on käytettävä näppäimistöä.
Graafinen ulkonäkö on surkea. Reunoista hieman pyöristettyjen legomiesten sähellys tuo mieleen jonkin muinaismuiston. Onneksi animaatio on sentään toimivaa. Tähän kätkeytyy pelin paras kohta: aseen rekyyli. Hahmot saavat kunnon täräyksen taaksepäin amupuessaan.
Blood Brothers on keskitason ampumispeli ja niin mitäänsanomaton, että se hukkuu keskitasoisten pelien mereen jättämättä mitään jälkeä käynnistään.
1988Blood Brothers - the story of two brothers' mission of revenge. The lads' parents were squashed in an attack by the Scorpions, and the boys decided to take revenge. Weeks went by gathering equipment, and then the assault began: they descended into the bowels of Scorpia.
The game is even dumber than it sounds. A run-of-the-mill maze adventure where you shoot everything that moves and collect ammo and other extra gear. Still, the game would be passable as it stands if the whole shebang hadn't been wrecked by two things. Only two-player mode is possible, and the second player has to use the keyboard.
The graphics look miserable. The bumbling about of Lego men slightly rounded at the edges brings to mind some ancient relic. Luckily the animation at least works. Therein lies the best part of the game: the recoil of the guns. The characters get a proper jolt backwards when they shoot.
Blood Brothers is a middling shoot-'em-up, and so bland that it drowns in the sea of middling games without leaving any trace of its visit.
