Molecule Man
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

1987Olet molekyylimies, ja elämäntehtäväsi on yksinkertaisesti pysyä hengissä. Seikkailet kolmiulotteisessa sokkelossa (taas kerran). Sokkelossa on säteilyä, joka vie elämänvoimaasi. Löytämilläsi rahoilla voit ostaa lisäaikaa tai pommeja. Pommeilla pääset paikkoihin, joihin et muuten pääsisi.
Kaiken tarkoituksena on paeta sokkelosta telesiirtimellä. Pitää vain löytää 16 puuttuvaa osaa.
Peli käyttää monista muista tuttua grafiikkaa, jossa katselet huoneita ylänurkasta. Molekyyli-miehesi liikkuu varsin vaikeasti, mutta eipä liene suurta väliä, sillä et kuitenkaan pysy kauaa hengissä. Säteily on tosi tappavaa...
Molecule Man sisältää sokkeloeditorin, jonka avulla voit muotoilla pelin 256-huoneista sokkeloa mielin määrin. Aluksi helpotus saattaa olla tarpeen.
Editointimahdollisuutta lukuunottamatta Molecule Man on varsin tavanomainen ja nopeasti unohtuva peli.
1987You are the molecule man, and your mission in life is simply to stay alive. You adventure around a three-dimensional maze (yet again). The maze is full of radiation, which drains your life force. With the money you find you can buy extra time or bombs. Bombs get you into places you otherwise couldn't reach.
The point of it all is to escape from the maze by teleporter. All you have to do is find the 16 missing parts.
The game uses the graphics familiar from lots of other games, where you look at the rooms from an upper corner. Your molecule man moves rather awkwardly, but that probably doesn't matter much, since you won't stay alive for long anyway. The radiation is seriously deadly...
Molecule Man includes a maze editor that lets you reshape the game's 256-room maze to your heart's content. At first, a little easing-off may well be in order.
Apart from the editing option, Molecule Man is a pretty run-of-the-mill and quickly forgotten game.
