Breakdance
Pelit was a Finnish-language (bi)annual book series published from 1987 to 1991 containing gaming-related articles, tips and most importantly game reviews. Here you can find all the reviews from the books. The reviews were originally written in Finnish; the English versions are translations of the Finnish originals.

Ohjelmassa on viisi eri peliä. Neljä ensimmäistä ovat lähinnä harjoitteluun, viides niiden yhdistelmä. Kolmessa ensimmäisessä on pelaajan osattava tunnistaa eri Break-tanssiaskelia, neljännessä on suunniteltava musiikkiin sopiva tanssi.
Yksi esimerkki uudesta on Breakdance. Pelin toteutuksessa on kuitenkin pieniä vajavaisuuksia, esimerkiksi musiikki on moniäänistä, mutta menee joskus erittäin vaikeatajuiseksi.
1987Kitted out with fine graphics and good music right from the start, this game really is something special. It is also a sign of programmers striving to get away from the tedious old killing games.
The program contains five different games. The first four are mainly for practice, and the fifth is a combination of them. In the first three the player has to be able to recognise different break-dance steps; in the fourth you have to choreograph a dance to fit the music.
The fifth and final game brings all the others together. In it you go through all the earlier parts. At the end, unlike in the other parts, you can also make it into the "Hall of Fame", in other words the hall of honour, which is a Top Ten list.
As such, games like this are good. Every player gets over their destruction-game frenzy at some point, and then starts looking for something new. Breakdance is one example of the new. There are, however, small shortcomings in the game's execution; for example, the music is polyphonic, but it sometimes becomes extremely hard to follow.
